Ben Nighthorse Campbell

   Nighthorse Campbell, a Northern Cheyenne, is a US Senator representing Colorado. Initially a democrat, Mr. Nighthorse Campbell changed to a republican and has championed many Native American causes. He is currently the only American Indian serving in the US Senate or Congress.

    Kevin Red Star is a member of the Crow Tribe and a well known and respected artist.  His art reflects the cultures, history, symbols and traditions of the Crow tribe.

Joseph Medicine Crow

    Joe Medicine Crow is the first Crow Indian to earn a master's degree and was declared the official tribal historian in 1947. His papers deal largely with Crow history and culture. He is also the author of From the Heart of Crow Country.
