A class book can be used to reinforce information about the planets and learn the sight words "go", "said", "can", "to", "my",  and "I".   Each child makes his/her own page. Students draw a picture of a planet and write his/her name  in the blanks below.   To the left is the cover of the book.    (Click on the picture to get a printable copy.)

      Pictures of the day sky and the night sky were labeled with interactive writing in Carol Russell's classroom. 

    Carol Clapper's class did this day and night activity and used sentence strips to write below.
