Beginning Golf

Fencing

Come experience the fast-paced, high energy sport of Olympic style fencing and discover why fencing is among the fastest growing sport in the US! This class will be taught by the coaches of the Big Sky Fencing Association which include USFA nationally ranked veteran, Ann Giulano, who has 25+ years of fencing experience. All equipment is provided by the Big Sky Fencing Association; please wear non-marring sports shoes and loose, "workout type" clothing. Limited to ages 12 and over--class is held at Heights Fitness (formerly Powerhouse Gym), 1323 Main St.

5th-6th Grade Volleyball

For 5th and 6th grade girls seriously interested in learning the fundamentals of youth volleyball and prepare themselves for middle school volleyball competition. Class time will mostly consist of drills with emphasis on movement and coordination, NOT on scrimmaging. Please wear appropriate attire--sweats or shorts and t-shirt.

Junior Olympic Volleyball

Specifically designed for high school girls to prepare for competition in Volleyball of the Future. Emphasis on technique to the individual's specialty and team strategy play. Endurance, enthusiasm for drills and willingness to accept changes are a must in order to be admitted. Instructor's approval required to enroll in this class--call him before calling to enroll. Spaces are limited. Please wear appropriate attire--sweats or shorts and t-shirt.

Extreme Ironing

Take the mundane task of ironing and turn it into an extreme sport! Not all of us can afford a pair of flat-front, never-iron, relaxed fit pants and some of us HAVE to iron every now and again. But it does not have to be done in front of a television, oh no! It can be done while wakeboarding on the lake or while scaling a rocky cliff face. How about while jumping off the top of a cliff? Take your iron with you from now on for action-packed extreme ironing!

7th-8th Grade Volleyball

This class is for female students who are now in 7th and 8th grade. Intensive middle school volleyball to prepare players for high school competition, this class is offered for players who are willing to work hard and drill while learning serving, setting and spiking. Time will be available for scrimmages. Beginning high school players accepted, too! Please wear appropriate attire--sweats or shorts and t-shirt.

9th-12th Grade High School Volleyball

This class is intensive volleyball for female high school students and is offered for players who have a minimum of junior varsity experience or equivalent. There will be workout on passing, setting, spiking and blocking with emphasis on offensive and defensive play. Lots of time for scrimmage and team play. Instructor approval required to enroll in this class--call him before enrolling. Please wear appropriate attire--sweats or shorts and t-shirt.
