The Social Studies Section of the GED has the following five subdivisions: World History, United States History, Government, Economics, and Geography. This test has 50 multiple-choice questions which follow either text or visuals or a combination of bothand draw from the following topics.

    Geography (15%)

    Civics and Government (25%)

    Economics (20%)

    U.S. History (25%)

    World History (15%)
